8th Asiad Literature Festival in Dubai

To celebrate and to glorify, honor & promote 3 strong pillars of brand India, namely- Gandhi, Khadi and Yoga along with Indian Literature and Literati, '8th Asiad Literature Festival' is being organised by Bharat Nirman Foundation (An all India Body eshtablished to promote Indian Culture, Art, Literature and Entrepreneurship since 1980) in Dubai-on 16 June at the Indian Consulate.

Padmashree Dr Mohsin Wali, Ex Diplomat Sri Amarendra Khatua, Industrialist and Entrepreneur Sri Shrikant & Supriya Badve are the Directors of the Fest. Entrepreneur &  Life Coach Sanskriti Bhandari is the Chief Advisor of this fest.

This Lit Fest would have Panel Discussions-(30 minutes with 6 Panelists each):
-Belief in Interfaith & Spirituality for World Peace;
-Gandhi, Khadi and Yoga (Brand India) with eminent speakers;
-Poetry & literature with Literati of India & Dubai;
-Talk show with Women in Power with Entrepreneurs and Industrialists on India 2020.

This Lit Fest will also feature along with practical Yoga sessions along with an expo on Gandhi & Khadi (Open to all).
This would also feature most prestigious 1st Gandhian Peace Honor4th Make in India Awards8th Literary Excellence Awards & 42nd Women Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, conferred upon by the Foundation, to selected few achievers of India & UAE.

Great Journalist and Social Activist Kiran Chopra (Owner of Punjab Kesari) and Film and Media Personality Sandeep Marwah are being conferred with most prestigious Gandhi Peace Honor. Diamond King Dr Harshad R Mehta, Philanthropic and Entrepreneur Surendra Singh kandhari, Vice President Emirates Bank Lubna Qassim, HE Mirza AL Bayegh, Chief Editor & Entrepreneur Sumit Sahwney are one of the few Entrepreneur of the Year awardees; also  Geeta Chhabra being conferred with Literary Excellence Award,  said the Convener of the Fest-Sri Ravindra Bhandari.

Gandhi Peace Honor in 8th Asiad Literature Festival in Dubai

Gandhi Peace Honor-During 8th Asiad Literature Festival which is being organised in Indian Consulate Dubai on 16 June 2018, the most prestigious Gandhi Peace Honor has been specially designed to celebrate the Centenary Year of Gandhi's Sabarmati Ashram and Champaran movement, to only selected few, who have been selflessly working on World Peace through their activities-as informed by the convener Bharat Nirman Foundation Sri Ravindra Bhandari. The committee this time has decided to confer upon this prestigious award to Kiran Chopra and Sandeep Marwah from India.

7th Asiad Literature Festival (Revisits Gandhian Ideology)





  

New Delhi, March 17, 2018: Today the national capital witnessed a stupendous evening with the great event of 7th Asiad Literature Festival at India International Centre New Delhi which was an ode to Mahatma Gandhi and his teachings of Interfaith & Peace. Other noble objectives of this festival were to celebrate the Centenary year of Champaran and Sabarmati and to promote Indian literature and Literati. The fest started with lamp lighting by the Convener Sri Ravindra Bhandari along with Politician Pinky Anand, Music Director Anand Raj Anand and Padmashree Shovana Narayan and Dr Amarendra Khatua and was followed by the crowning ceremony of Brand Ambassador of the Fest Miss Teen Universe 2017, Shristi Kaur.

The fest had Pinky Anand (Additional Solicitor General of India) as Chief Guest of 1st session, Politician MP Udit Raj as Chief Guest in the 2nd session. Many eminent names from the Journalism and bureaucracy world attended the event along with some extremely talented entrepreneurs of the city from various sections and sectors.

The highlights of the fest included the award ceremony to appreciate the works of some great minds from the Literature world and from the entrepreneurship community and the exhibition on works of Gandhi by Kanwal Singh Chaudhary. There were several panel discussions on various topics like Belief in Interfaith, Poetry & Literature, Is India a friendly country, World’s view on India, I am Khadi (Local to Global) and Women in Power with eminent panelists.

Briefing the audience and the dignitaries about the event, the convener Ravindra Bhandari said, “At a time when hate and atrocities are peaking up in the nation, this fest is an initiative to remind all of the Gandhian views and make it relevant in the present times to ensure a sound and fruitful future for all. The event also aims at highlighting the good of the Indian Literature and encourages the good done by some of the very talented and hard-working entrepreneurs, especially the women.”
The event featured its highest 7th Literary Excellence awards 2018 to Pramod Pradhan, Ashok Kesang Wangdi, Ikrant Sharma, Anand Raj Anand, Prof. Dr. Rakesh Mohan Joshi, Dr Kamal Taori, P K Mishra,  Satya Narayana Sahu, Dr. Suman Khanna Aggarwal, Kaushal Kishore, Tej Pratap Narayan, Leena Sarma,  Dr Satbir Bedi, Vishwajeet Parashar, Vaishali Mathur, Pallavi Kodan Chaudhary and Ruchi Khanna.
Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2018 were conferred to Prof. Dr Babli Praveen, Guneet Sethi, Vineeta Yadav, Sumaira Khan, Archana Gupta, Veena Gupta, Vandana Lakhanpal, Priya Jain, Ruby Arun, Dr. Sanjana Jon, Parul Kumar, Anca Verma, Prof. Dr Kirti Sharma, Ranjana Maheshwari, Neetu Bedi, Anjali Dhawan, Rucchii Kanwar, Dr Meenaa Mahaajjan, Savita Sharma, Ritika Jatin Ahuja, Geeta Singh, Taru Saini, Shipra Harpreet Ghai, Manya Pathak and Diksha Anand. Young Author Excellence Award went to Lachi Prajapati from Jaipur.

6th Asiad Literature Festival in Pune by Delhi based Bharat Nirman Foundation

Bharat Nirman Foundation (Delhi) is launching its 6th edition of Asiad Literature Festival in the city of Pune, in February 2018, the cultural capital of Maharashtra, India. According to the organizer Sri Ravindra Bhandari-'The main objective to host this is to promote Indian Literature and Entrepreneurs of the city'. This one day fest would showcase various panel discussion of National importance with a few Intellect Dignitaries, Industrialists and Women Entrepreneur of the city. Also, an Art Expo titled 'Namami Gange' based on the policies of PMO, to protect and preserve Natural resources of India, will be showcased by eminent Artists.
